This policy explains the cookies sahabdrive.com sets, why, and how long each one lasts. It covers this website. The SahabDrive application at cloud.sahabdrive.com is a separate service with its own session cookies, described in its own terms.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, and which the browser sends back on your next visit. It is how a site can remember something about you between pages without asking again.

Cookies we set without asking

Two, both first-party, both strictly necessary in the sense that the site cannot do what you asked without them. Neither identifies you and neither is shared with anyone.

• NEXT_LOCALE — the language you chose, so the site opens in it next time. One year.
• sahabdrive_consent — your answer to the question below, so we do not ask again on every page. Six months.

Cookies we set only if you agree

Measurement, and nothing else. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies that let us count visits and see which pages are read. Nothing is set before you accept, and declining costs you no functionality at all.

• _ga and _ga_<id> — Google Analytics, to distinguish one visitor from another. Two years.

If measurement is switched off for this site, these are never set and the question is never asked.

Live chat

When a member of our support team is at the desk, a chat button appears in the corner of the page. It is served by Zammad, our own helpdesk at support.riadvice.com, which RIADVICE operates. It is not a third party service. When nobody is available the button is a WhatsApp link instead, and nothing is loaded from the helpdesk at all.

The chat is how you reach us, so it loads without asking: it is a telephone line being open, not a measurement tool. It sets no cookie. It keeps one entry in your browser’s session storage, holding the identifier of a conversation in progress so that reloading the page does not lose what you have written, and your browser discards it when you close the tab.

If you start a conversation, what you type reaches our helpdesk and is kept there as a support ticket, together with the page you wrote from. Please do not send passwords or payment details through it. If you would rather the widget did not load at all, blocking support.riadvice.com in your browser leaves the rest of the site working normally.

Changing your mind

Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, on any page. You can also clear cookies in your browser, which resets everything above, including the language you chose.

What we do not do

No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no session recording, no heatmaps, and no data broker. Nothing on this site profiles you or follows you elsewhere.
